The controller

Stripped down,
built back better

The controller is fully stripped down. The internals get a deep clean. Then we fit a new shell, new buttons and new TMR sticks.

What goes in

The base of every controller

Base, Tactile and Pro all get a deep clean, a new shell, new buttons and new TMR sticks. Tactile and Pro add extra inputs on top of that.

Sticks

TMR, no stick drift

TMR sticks read your movement with a magnetic field. Nothing rubs against anything, so there's nothing to wear down.

Shell and buttons

New in your hands

The old shell and buttons come off. The new parts give each drop its own colourway and feel clean and tight.

Deep clean

Open, clean and tested

We deep clean the internals, then test every button, stick and port. The controller only goes in the box once everything checks out.

Extra inputs

Tactile and Pro

Tactile gets clicky triggers and face buttons. Pro also gets four back buttons you map yourself, so your thumbs never leave the sticks.

The base

Why not just buy a new one?

Every Grit starts with an original DualSense. We strip it right down. The internals get a deep clean, while the shell, buttons and sticks are replaced.

You get the proven DualSense base back, with the parts you see, feel and use most during play completely renewed.

If a base doesn't pass our testing, we don't use it. We build them ourselves here in the Netherlands, and you get 12 months of warranty on the result.

There's one left

Serial 9216 is ready to go. After that it is waiting for drop 002, and the list hears about that first.
